Hello!

I am a filmmaker from Minnesota living in Brooklyn. My projects take inspiration from the fraught path of feminine self-reliance, Nickelodeon and Soviet cartoons, and food as communion.

I studied film and English at Middlebury College, and have worked as an art, production, and producer’s assistant on commercials, television, and features. Last summer I attended the Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference in fiction.

My current projects include a narrative essay meditating on natural and man-made elevation, a short documentary exploring hybrid cuisines in Alaska’s northernmost town, and a short rom-com I just finished producing and directing this August.
